Manager, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion
Location: Waterloo Region, ON

The Waterloo Regional Police Service (WRPS) is commencing a search for a Manager, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI). As a member of the WRPS Senior Leadership Team, this successful candidate will play a critical role in fostering a culture of respect by shaping and supporting the Waterloo Regional Police Service (WRPS) equity, inclusion and diversity strategic direction through the development, implementation, maintenance and evaluation of the programs, policies, and initiatives. This will include providing guidance to the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) and collaboration with leaders across a number of functional units to ensure alignment of EDI priorities and to embed them throughout the organization.

Reporting to the Executive Officer of the Chief of Police, this role is responsible for fostering a culture of respect by shaping and supporting the WRPS’ Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) strategic direction through the development, implementation, maintenance and evaluation of the programs, policies, and initiatives.
