Position Summary:
School of Advancement
The School of Advancement is seeking a First Nations, Métis, or Inuit (FNMI) candidate for this position. Reporting to the Dean of the School of Advancement, the Chair is accountable for providing academic and administrative leadership, supervision, support and direction to full time and part time faculty teaching in our Pathways Programs (Liberal Arts and Pre-Health) and Stackable Programs (Indigenous Studies, Inclusive Leadership Practices and Entrepreneurism).The Chair is accountable for the planning, development, delivery and ongoing quality review of these full time programs. The Chair is responsible for the integration of the principles and practices of a Learning Centred College and accountable for the integration of the principles of diversity, equity and inclusiveness in all areas of the department. The Chair is also responsible for the development of new programs and special initiatives as identified in the College’s Strategic and Business Plans, School’s business plan and/or sector/environmental research including part-time learning.
