Systems and Security Specialist
Location: Vaughan, ON
Overseeing an integrated framework of infrastructure services, the Infrastructure and Operations team is responsible for the design, build and operate aspects of Network, Datacenter, End User Compute, Application delivery and Security solutions and services. Supporting the Director, I.T. Operations, the Systems and Security Specialist will identify and evaluate IT systems, processes, policies, and deviation from standards/baselines as it relates to the infrastructure, operations and security portfolio. This includes conducting solution evaluation, project participation, knowledge transfer and incident response with the objective of improving information systems and security controls while strengthening service delivery. Supporting day-to-day IT operations to ensure timely response and remediation of incidents and maintaining exceptional service delivery.
The Systems and Security Specialist possesses knowledge of systems and security technologies and concepts. The role requires an understanding of data center, network, software and security management and service delivery including, capacity, problem, incident and change management. The candidate will participate in projects, operations and service delivery activities. The role and responsibilities will serve any candidate who is looking for a career in Information Security.
