LSO FORS 2 – Land and Resource Coordinator – Wildfire Risk Reduction – (97056)

Location: Multiple locations, BC
This Land and Resource Coordinator role supports, facilitates and coordinates engagement discussions on wildfire risk reduction and related activities with a wide variety of stakeholders and partners within the South Island Natural Resource District. The successful candidate works in diverse teams, gathers and manages complex natural resource data, completes analysis and develops options, provides advice to statutory decision makers, resolves complex stewardship issues and supports land/resource management decisions.
You possess the ability to draw conclusions on complex technical issues, using advanced analytical reasoning and judgement skills. You have strong written and oral communication skills, exercising professionalism, tact and diplomacy to industry clients, external agencies and management. In addition, you possess the ability to effectively liaise with other industry clients, government agencies, First Nations, the public and diverse public interest groups.
