Environmental Health & Safety Professional (FCAT)
Location: Windsor, ON
The Environmental Health and Safety Professional (FCAT) is needed to administer, coordinate and institute the safety programs and activities of FCA Transport at the Windsor Terminal.
The Environmental Health and Safety Professional (FCAT) will: monitor compliance with Federal, Provincial, State and Local regulatory provisions specific to the truck transportation business, and act as a liaison between FCA Transport and all governmental enforcement agencies; advise and counsel terminal management in matters relating to The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations, The Highway Traffic Act, The Ministry of Transportation, The Department of Transportation, The Ontario Occupational Health & Safety Act and Corporate Safety Policies; audit terminal functions on a regular basis to ensure compliance with established government and Corporate Safety requirements; advise terminal management regarding government regulatory innovations or changes as they occur and pertain to this activity; accompany all Federal, Provincial, State and Local Compliance Officers during site inspections; administer basic Corporate Safety Programs and specific programs for FCAT; be the Primary Incident Commander under requirements of site specific episode plan; oversee Department training program, including needs assessment.
