Rail Vehicle Analyzer
Location: Toronto, ON

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Performing varied and complex work involving the inspection, maintenance, overhaul, modification, repair, testing and troubleshooting of electrical, electronic, hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical components and body equipment found on revenue and non-revenue rail transit vehicle
  • Assignments vary from the running repair nature to complete analysis of vehicle problems involving modifications and bench work associated with the removal, testing, troubleshooting, repairing/modifying and re-installing of components
  • Performing emergency repair work on rail vehicles in the shop, yard or main service line and involves responding to emergency calls either by riding the trains, or by driving to the scene in an emergency truck; inspecting, troubleshooting and, if possible, correcting/isolating problems while vehicles are in service….
